Pricing:

Due to the large number of variations we offer in sizes, materials, finishes, and custom modifications, it is not possible to list them all in a price list.  Therefore, we will quote prices for any product which meet your specific needs by phone or fax.  These quotations are valid for 30 days. All orders for custom or modified fixtures must be in writing and require buyers acknowledgement prior to production.  When required by law, J L & S Woodworking, Inc. will collect any applicable North Carolina sales tax, unless an exemption certificate is provided.

Terms:

All orders require a 50% deposit when the order is placed, with the balance due before shipment, unless other payment arrangements have been made in advance. The deposit must be received before your order can be entered in our production schedule. Payment may be made by check. All returned checks are subject to a $25.00 fee.  We may request a certified check for final payment. All prices, quotes and payment are in U.S. dollars.

Shipping:

When you place your order, you may request an anticipated ship date.  We shall make the utmost effort to manufacture and ship your order to meet your schedule.  All shipments are FOB Gastonia, NC or FOB port-of-origin on outsource items.  You may pick up your order or we will arrange shipment for you.  Most freight carriers provide tailgate delivery and will expect payment for freight charges on delivery unless other arrangements are made for prepaid freight and/or inside delivery.

Usually customers arrange for their own unloading crews to move shipments from the truck tailgate into the store.  We can make every effort to ship via the most economical carrier. Most orders are shipped via motor freight. Small items and accessories will usually ship via Fed-Ex Ground. The buyer will be responsible for any increase in shipping charges for special shipping requirements.

Damage in Transit:

The responsibility for the safe delivery of goods passes to the delivering carrier upon shipment. You should carefully count, open and inspect each carton at the time of delivery. If you are unable to open the cartons at the time of delivery, you should sign for as damaged, or refuse any cartons which have visible signs of damage on the outside. Should the total number of cartons be less than indicated on the delivery bill, note the total pieces received and the total number short on the driver's copy of the bill. If you discover concealed damage or a shortage after acceptance of the shipment, you must file a claim with the delivering carrier. In case of damage notify the delivering carrier immediately and request that an inspection be made. This should be done over the phone and in writing. (Save carton and all packing materials) We will be glad to assist in any way possible, but only the buyer can initiate a claim.

Returns:

J L & S Woodworking, Inc. cannot accept returns without prior written consent. Request for returns must be made within 10 days of receipt. All returns must be received in resalable condition and are subject to our inspection and acceptance before credit can be issued. All credits are subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover cost of inspecting and repackaging merchandise.

While J L & S Woodworking, Inc. attempts to assure that its products meet applicable national codes, but cannot guarantee compliance or be responsible for how the product is installed or used.
